Steph Curry scores 47 to will Warriors to victory (1:49)

Curry scored 47 points and had eight assists and eight boards to help the Golden State Warriors beat the Kings. There is a time and a place for it.

Stephen Curry had never been happier about a win in the 11th game of the regular season than he was about the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors were coming off a five-game losing streak and considered this to be a must-WIN game.

Their win was largely due to the latest Curry takeover and some timely 3-pointers by Andrew Wiggins.

Curry finished the night with a game-high 47 points on 17 of 24 shooting, including 7-of-12 from 3-point range, eight assists, and eight boards. He had 17 points in the last quarter. Curry is the first player since 1977 to have no turnovers in a game.

It was the fourth game of the NBA finals to me. Draymond Green said that he wouldn't allow them to lose. I'm not saying this game was as important, so take that with a pinch of salt. When is the right time to get out of the way? It was a time when he took over.

Curry's dominance has been desperately needed by Golden State through the early part of the season, as it navigates defensive struggles and an inefficient bench. Curry says the weight he is carrying is not a burden.

The young players are going to get an opportunity to perform, and there are going to be some struggles, Curry said. The story of this team is that. Every year is different and you are prepared for that. It's difficult for these young guys to find a role in this league.

Curry has scored at least 30 points in eight of the 10 games he has played, making him the third player in franchise history to do so.

Through the first 10 games of the season, Curry has made 53 3-pointers, which is the second most through a player's first 10 games of a season.

Steve Kerr said that Stephan was just breathtaking. He's one of the greatest players to ever play the game, and he plays so well on many nights. This seemed special for him.

Klay Thompson played 38 minutes against the Kings. The two players played a game-high 40 minutes each. The team desperately needed the win and Kerr was comfortable with the amount of time the starters would get.

Kerr said it was needed. It isn't sustainable. We know we won't be able to do this for a long time.

The Warriors have had to rely on their starters in almost every game this season, as their bench production has dropped off.

Kerr promised to switch up his rotation in order to find a spark. He decided to move two-way player Anthony Lamb higher up into the rotation.

Golden State's bench was outscored 45-15 by the Kings despite the changes to the rotation. Jordan scored two points and had a minus-11 net rating.

Kerr tried to get Poole going by putting him in the starting lineup, but it didn't work. In the second half, Kerr never came back to Kuminga and played just nine minutes.

After the good start, we were not as good as we could have been. Kerr said that they lost their juice. We did enough to get it done, but we were just flying by the seat of our pants.

One veteran reserve, JaMychal Green, and the second pick in the 2020 draft, James Wiseman, were not included in the rotation.

Kerr plans to play smaller lineups with Draymond Green and Kuminga as backups for Looney, but there will be opportunities for JaMychal Green to get back into the rotation at some point.

Draymond Green said that it's important for Wiseman to use this time to improve. You should be crushing yourself if you're not in the lineup. It is certain that Steve is going to call your number.
