According to a new report, Musk is considering putting all of the site's content behind a paywall. After taking control of the social media company late last month, Musk tried to back out of the deal, but was forced to make it.

According toNewton, Musk's proposed paywall for all Twitter content, something that does not appear imminent, could allow some users to read and post free during a short window and only pay after a certain amount of time. It's not unusual for a business run by a press- hostile billionaire to not respond to a request for comment.

In the parlance of Silicon Valley, Musk has moved fast and broken things, but those breaks have come with a human toll. Musk laid off thousands of people last week, but managers at the company tried to protect employees who were going through cancer treatment and in need of health insurance, according to Platformer.

Some people who were laid off on Friday think they were laid off because they needed time off. The data science manager who is six months pregnant with her second child said that she planned to file a lawsuit.

Discrimination is definitely present here. I will be fighting. Lu posted a picture on his account. I know that other male managers don't have this rating because my performance has been tracking ahead for the last quarter. You should see you in the court.

Some of the employees who were let go last week were fired in error, so the company is trying to get them back.

Advertisers have left the social media platform due to Musk's chaotic management style. Major brands have been spooked by the fact that Musk seems to be palling around with the far right and threatening to go "thermonuclear" on brands that may pull advertising from the social media site. Musk stole a meme from another person and probably had no idea it was a Nazi.

Musk has banned several people from his account for pretending to be him. Musk doesn't seem to know what free speech means when he calls himself a free speech absolutist. Tom Fitton, a right-wing activist, suggested that anyone calling for an ad boycott of Twitter could be sued for defamation, which is ridiculous. Above the Law calls Fitton a " moron" and Musk replied with a simple affirmative.

The debt burden is legendary at this point and is said to reach somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.2 billion to service per year. It is unlikely that a plan to paywall would bring in enough money to cover the cost of lost advertising.

We don't know what we know. We didn't have enough money to buyTwitter. Musk chose to partner with some of the worst human rights abusers on the planet in order to fund his deal. Musk must be a genius because of his wealth.
