If you want to book a stop on your itinerary for more than 24 hours, you can get an additional 5,000 points.
If you have transferrable points, Air Canada Aeroplan is a great option. The Aeroplan Credit Card is a lucrative card in the US.

Aeroplan members earn points based on a percentage of the distance traveled. Bamboo Airways flights do not count towards elite status.
Aeroplan teased its new airline partner last week.
They serve a particular, amazing aspirational destination and are the only one serving it on a scheduled basis with jet aircraft. In fact, the aircraft they use on this route is a fleet type they added specifically to serve this market!
The airline was called Bamboo Airways. The islands of Con Dao were specifically served by the Embraer 190 fleet type. The addition of the Embraer 190 allows the airline to provide the only scheduled jet service there.

Bamboo Airways doesn't have airline partners so these kinds of partnerships add a lot of value.
