Lamar: Ravens 'gotta keep doing what we're doing' ahead of bye week (1:20)

Lamar Jackson talked about the Ravens victory over the Saints. The time has come.

11:21 PM ET

The Baltimore Ravens won their third straight and fourth out of five games with a 27-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

The Baltimore defense recorded four sacks, including 2.5 by Houston.

The Saints have lost a lot.

When the team needed it the most, the Ravens' defense delivered. The Ravens held the Saints to the lowest total of the season.

He was the first player in Ravens history to get multiple sacks in a game. The defense did not allow a touchdown until four minutes were left in the game.

The defense did a good job because of the offense's injuries. Running back J.K. Dobbins is on injured reserve with a knee injury. The Ravens won their third game in a row and head into the bye with a one-game lead over Cincinnati in the division.

Houston's pick up in the fourth quarter was a pivot. The Ravens sealed their fourth win in five games with a game-clinching play with 8:24 left in the game. The defensive end made a play on the ball. The Ravens quickly converted the turnover into a touchdown and went on to win the game. It was the 11th game in a row that Baltimore forced a turnover. Houston is the first player to record 2.5 sacks and an intercept in the same game.

The Ravens are one of the fastest starting teams in the league. The Baltimore Ravens became the first team to lead by double digits in each of their first nine games of the season. The Ravens are the third team in the last 20 years to do it, joining the New Orleans Saints and the Packers. If the Ravens hadn't had three fourth-quarter meltdowns, they would be off to a great start.

Jackson was playing with the ball. Jackson became more unpredictable when he didn't have his top two targets by his side. He threw to 10 players, tying a career high, after hitting eight different players on his first 8 passes. In the first eight games, the Ravens accounted for 39% of the team's catches, but they appeared to be more balanced without them.

Josh Allen and Jackson are the only players in NFL history to record 100 passing touchdown and 20 rushing touchdown before their 26th birthday. The two were drafted in the same year.

The next game is against the panthers. There was an event on November 20th.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints were hoping to turn a corner after their performance against the Raiders. They were disappointed in a prime time loss.

The problems the Saints dealt with earlier in the season came back. The offensive line didn't protect the quarterback after the loss of the center. The Saints' run game didn't fare well against the Ravens as New Orleans gained just 48 yards, and the Saints' starting quarterback threw a late pick-six, which didn't help his long-term case.

The Saints didn't have an answer for Jackson, who made a lot of plays to escape tackles. On a short week, the Saints will have to regroup as they travel to Pittsburgh to play theSteelers.

The offense took a huge step back against the Ravens after Dennis Allen committed to Andy at quarterback. The offense didn't perform well in the big game, despite the fact that the three picks in prime time were a bad sign. In the fourth quarter, he was picked off for the second time. At the end of the first half, he missed a wide-open Callaway in the end zone. Callaway's end zone throw with over 5 yards of separation was the second incompletion of the season.

The injury bug came back to bite the Saints, with starting LB Pete Werner and starting defensive end Marcus Davenport all leaving with injuries. The Saints have been short-handed all season, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, so this would be another blow. He has taken a huge leap forward in his second season and has been a key piece of the defense.

The worst quarterback since 2000 has a.231 win percentage in prime time, and that's despite the fact that he's not very good. Kerry Collins has a.238 percent.

The next game is at Pittsburgh. There was an event on November 13th.
