  • Google rolls out a minor Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3.1 patch for Pixel devices.
  • Users should find this latest patch bearing build number T1B3.221003.008.
  • The patch fixes system UI and camera app issues, along with incorrectly displayed messages during calls, and an issue with an unresponsive Google Assistant.

There was a minor update to address freezing and other issues.

According to the release notes, the minor patch for the latest version of the operating system has now been rolled out to a number of devices. The build number for the new patch is T1B2.

We've received the update for the Pixel 6 Pro at 2GB, despite the fact that it's a minor patch.

There were two known issues that were addressed with this light patch. The first issue was caused by a device'sGPU drivers causing the systemUI to occasionally freeze while under normal use. There was an issue where a device would show "Missed Call" instead of "Call answered on another device."

There were issues with the cameras of the devices. The camera app crashed at times, but has been fixed. The camera app taking a longer time to open has been fixed. When users would record or watch their video back on certain devices, artifacts would appear.

There is an issue that caused the carrier settings to crash when a sim card is inserted.

There was an issue with the Assistant that caused it to not work on certain devices.

One of the issues that has been fixed is that the unlockUI was placed atop notifications and other lock screen elements. There was an issue where a device's screen would go blank when trying to unlocks it.

The last update from the company was released two weeks ago as we near the end of the year. Users were introduced to the upcoming Clear calling feature in that update. The added support for built-in VPNs is likely to be used to prepare for the free PureVPN offered through the One service.
