According to a source, Josh Allen is being evaluated for an elbow injury.

He is questionable for the game against the Vikings.

"We're just going through it, still evaluating it, and we'll see where it goes," he said. I will probably be able to check in with the media on Wednesday when I know more.

Allen was hurt during the last drive of the team's loss to the Jets. The Jets defensive lineman hit Allen's throwing arm and the Bills recovered the strip sack.

The quarterback tried to shake out the arm after throwing a low pass that looked off-target to the wide receiver.

Allen had some pain after the game. We will get through it.

On the final Bills offensive play of the game, Allen threw a pass to a wide receiver. It was the longest pass attempt in the last six years.

He completed 18 of 34 passes for 205 yards with two picks. The quarterback had a career high in sacks against four or fewer pass-rushers. Allen finished the game as the leader on the ground with nine carries for 86 yards and two scores.

There is a backup quarterback. If Allen isn't able to go, the Vikings would face the man who caught the "Minneapolis Miracle" reception from him.

Allen has not missed a regular-season game since his freshman year, when he injured his elbow and sat out four games.

Josh loves to compete and he loves to be out there with his teammates. I wouldn't count him out." We are still evaluating the medical piece, that's the only thing I know about him. I will know more tomorrow for myself.

Second-year pass-rusher Greg Rousseau is out for a week with an ankle injury. He is a member of the team.
