It wouldn't appear that Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy would be against his team making a run at free agent wide receiver.

I have always been a big fan of his. He told reporters on Monday that he had heard a lot of good things about him.

He said that they really love their receiver group.

The Cowboys may be in the mix.

Beckham is "firmly on the Cowboys' radar, sources say, and they are expected to be in the mix when he's ready to pick his team," according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.

The Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams were expected to be in the running for Beckham if he were to sign with them.

There will be a bidding war for Beckham.

The New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers were mentioned by Rapoport.

Adding another player like Beckham would make sense since the Cowboys have three players at the position in Noah Brown, Michael Gallup and Cee Dee Lamb.

After Beckham had a resurgence with the Rams last season after struggling for several years in Cleveland, it's hard to imagine the Cowboys' quarterback being upset with having another weapon in his possession.

The 30-year-old could be a difference-maker for the Cowboys as they look to have a deep playoff run and close the gap on their opponents.
