PJ Walker is the starter, according to reports.
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Walker will start on Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons after being replaced at the half by Baker Mayfield.
The firing of former head coach Matt Rhule, feuding with coaches, and getting kicked off the sidelines in an October game are just some of the things that have happened to the Carolinas this year.
While the veteran quarterback threw four touchdown, four interception and was sacked 15 times, it didn't go well for the starter, who started the year as the starter.
Walker became the starter after he suffered an ankle injury in a Week 5 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
In the first half of Sunday's loss, he was poor, going 3-of-10 for nine yards and two picks, which led to him being sent back to Mayfield.

The fact that Sam Darnold was activated from injured reserve on Monday adds to the quarterback dilemma for the Carolinas. The issue is that neither Walker nor Mayfield has seized the job this year, and that Darnold didn't make the most of his chance.
None of the three options at the most important position on the roster are very good. Walker continues to hold onto the job.
