The Los Angeles Lakers will play the Utah Jazz on Monday without their star player.

It will be the first missed game of the season for the forward, who is averaging 24.3 points, 8.9 rebound and 7.1 assists through nine games.

James has dealt with injuries throughout his career.

He was limited to 56 games in the next two years due to injuries. He missed a lot of games with ankle problems.

In his four years with the Lakers, he has played a total of 60 games.

By the middle of the summer, James was back to full strength.

He said during an appearance at the Drew League that he was 100 percent healthy.

There is a chance that the Lakers will be cautious with the 37 year old in his 20th season in the NBA.
