Tiger Woods is going to play in the seventh edition of The Match on December 10.

The 15-time major champion will team up with a world No. 1 golfer and two other players in a competition at a golf club in Florida.

The match starts at 6 pm. Relief efforts for Hurricane Ian will be aided by the airing of the show. According to a news release, previous editions of The Match raised $33 million for charity and provided 27 million meals.

Woods has previously appeared in The Match. In May 2020, he and Manning defeated Phil and Tom by one stroke. The original head-to-head Match event was held in November of last year. They will make their debut in the event.

Woods missed the cut at the 150th Open Championship in July. He was seriously injured in a car wreck outside Los Angeles in February. He finished 47th at the Masters in April, his first start since the wreck, and withdrew after three rounds of thePGA Championship.

The Hero World Challenge will be played in the Bahamas in early December. His foundation gets a boost from the event. He's expected to play in the event with his son, but hasn't said if he'll play.
