Robert Downey Jr. took a few years off after saying goodbye to Tony Stark in the finale of "Iron Man." Aside from starring in 2020's "Dolittle," the actor has produced a number of other films.

The Sympathizer is an adaptation of the novel of the same name. To prepare for the role, Downey enlisted his two children to shave his head, giving him a new look that's a far cry from his slick hair.

The "Sr." premiere saw the debut of Downey Jr.'s shaved hair. The life of the actor's father is explored in the documentary.

The film, directed by Chris Smith, was given an early 100% rating by the reviewers on the website.

The star was dressed in a sharp blue suit and matching tinted glasses on the red carpet where he was joined by his wife.

Jon Favreau is well known for directing the first two "Iron Man" movies as well as playing Harry "Happy" Hogan in various superhero movies.

The actor showed off his transformation in a video on the social networking site. He surprised Avri and Exton as they were carving pumpkins with the chance to shave their fathers head.

Avri painted the back of Downey Jr.'s head to make it look like a pumpkin, and they had a lot of fun with it.

Downey is playing five roles or something in the video. The actor seems to be pushing himself in a different way since his last appearance in the series.
