Nathan Jones' Luton are eighth in the Championship

Nathan Jones was given permission to talk to the Saints about their managerial position.

The Saints are in the midst of a nine-game losing streak and are in the midst of a battle to stay in the top flight.

The club will be able to speak to Jones after the game.

"We would like to place on record that the Premier League club have approached the board in the correct way, for which we are grateful, and that the whole situation is extremely amicable with Saints and Nathan," said the Hatters.

"We would like to encourage all of our supporters to travel to see him and the team and support what we hope will be another unforgettable away day."

After taking the club from League Two to League One in his first three years as manager, Jones is back at the helm of the club.

He returned to the Hatters 18 months later after taking over from Gary Rowett, who had left to take charge of the Potters.

Ruben Selles, the first team coach, will be in charge of the game.

Hasenhuttl is the fifth manager to lose his job this season.

Graham Potter left Seagulls to take over as the boss of Chelsea, while Scott, Bruno, Thomas, and Steven were all fired by other teams.
