Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay said changes have to be made after his team scored only 13 points.
Mc Vay said adjustments have to be made. We have to stop going on like this. I don't know what that looks like at the moment.
McVay wanted to make it clear that he wasn't pointing fingers at anyone but himself and that he was a big part of the problem. I have to work harder.
McVay said that they're going to stay connected. To be able to get different results and different production from our offense, we have to figure out what are some of the solutions, changes, adjustments, different things that we have to do.
The Rams have scored 131 points this year. Los Angeles had scored more than 200 points at this point last year. It's the second-fewest points by a defending champion in the Super Bowl era.
McVay thinks everything needs to be up for debate.
"As coaches we're responsible for identifying the problems and trying to provide solutions, and then the player's job to be able to go execute and be able to get it done." For them to be able to do theirs, I have to be able to do my part. You always look at that place. You want to look at something from a different perspective.
Cooper Kupp said he agreed with McVay's assessment.
"I don't want to say I have the answers, but I agree with you," Kupp said. A definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again. We need to change up and make points. Points can be put on the board. We let the defense down because they did a great job.

We want you to come back and work. It isn't a shortage of effort, but how much more can you give? Something has to be changed. It's important to find a way to score points.
The Rams had a four point lead with less than two minutes left in the game. Los Angeles was forced to punt after they couldn't get a first down. Brady threw a touchdown pass to take the lead.
Kupp said that it was very frustrating. It makes you want to vomit. The guys on defense have done something. All the work that goes into it. You have the chance to win three plays and average three and a third yards. We weren't able to make a difference.
The Rams are the eighth defending Super Bowl champion to be under.500. None of the previous teams made the playoffs.
Matthew Stafford said that the team needs to play better. From a player's point of view, that's what you can do. Continue to stack those days if you want to be better than you were the day before. That is the only way to approach it. I don't know if that's the right approach if you sit there and start looking around to figure something out.
Trying to figure out how each individual person can be better is the correct approach. Good things will occur if you do that.
