The Insider is a Russia focused media outlet.

According to the website of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Mikhail Vasiliev died on the morning of 6 November while carrying out pastoral duties.

The ROC said that as a priest, Vasiliev traveled on missions to "hot spots" and participated in peacekeeping operations.

He was the archpriest of both the church of St. Barbara the Great Martyr and the church of the strategic rocket forces.

If women in Russia had more children, it would be easier for them to send their sons to war.

A woman hid her son in the Canary Islands so she wouldn't get mobilised.

Each lady has been given permission by the Lord to give birth. If a lady fulfilled the commandments to be fruitful and multiply, she would have more than one child. She wouldn't find it hard to part with her child for a while. The devil isn't as bad as people think. The Russian priest said that nobody can be harmed.
