Jets' D comes up big on fourth down to top Bills (0:34)

The Bills had a chance to win on the last play of the game. There is a time and a place.

The New York Jets overcame a slow start, a double-digit deficit and a weird sky cam delay to beat the Buffalo Bills 20-17 on Sunday.

The Jets continued their amazing season with a dominating performance on defense and a bounce back game by quarterback, providing a loud statement to their doubters.

One year after a 4-13 finish, the Jets are in a three-way tie with the Dolphins and Bills for second place in the division.

Tyler Conklin said that everyone outside of the locker room didn't think we had a chance. Everybody thinks it will be the same old Jets. Last week was "Oh, the Same Old Jets". Well, guess what? The Jets are not the same old ones.

The Jets went off as a home favorite and have a winning record for the first time in seven years. Josh Allen scored two touchdown runs for the Bills. Wilson fumbled in the red zone in the third quarter, ruining a potential scoring drive that was interrupted by an unusual delay.

The game was halted for 11 minutes because of a broken cable on the CBS sky cam. The coach of the Jets said that it only happened to the Jets.

The Jets made a false start when the game resumed. Wilson coughed up the ball two plays later.

The sky did not fall on the Jets. Wilson's 7-yard touchdown pass to James Robinson gave the Jets a 17-14 lead after the Bills had tied the game at 14.

After the Bills tied it, the Jets turned to their ground game, rushing 10 out of 12 plays on an 86-yard drive that ended with a 28-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein. They had 174 rushing yards and a touchdown by Michael Carter. The defense forced a turnover on the final possession and slammed the door on the win.

A lot of people are going to be surprised. The man said something. There is no one surprised in the locker room.

The Jets have won three games after trailing by 10 or more. They went 0-20 in two seasons under Adam Gase.

"We're not going to flinch," he said. We are too young to react.

The Bills defense was ranked first in points allowed and second in yards allowed before the game. The Jets wanted to prove their defense is as good as possible.

The people did. They used their four man rush to rattle Allen into one of his worst games. The wide receiver, who had five catches for 93 yards in the first half, was blanked in the second and third quarters.

The goal of the Jets' defense is to be the number one team. We're going to keep playing and dominating and hopefully it will work out in our favor.

Wilson set a career high for completion percentage. He was under a lot of scrutiny after last week's debacle, but he managed the game well and only had one turnover.

Wilson doesn't care what people say. I've dealt with criticism my entire life. That is a big team win.
