The governor of Florida rejected the backlash for sending migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard. The former chair of the Republican National Committee torched Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over his arrogant, allegedly God-endorsed campaign ad. The ad is narrated by a voice that is meant to evoke a patriarchal supreme being talking about how God created DeSantis on the eighth day of creation. The sun, the moon, the stars, Earth, animals and all the average humans on the planet were all created by God.

Michael Steele, the former head of the RNC, said on MSNBC that the ad was the dumbest political ad he had ever seen.

It tells you what white Christian nationalism is all about. He said that it doesn't appeal to people who actually read the bible.
