After Donald Trump called Ron DeSanctimonious at a rally, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo rushed to his defense.

On Saturday, Trump held a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

"We are winning big in the Republican Party for the nomination, like nobody has ever done before," Trump said.

While reading approval numbers of various Republicans, Trump said, "There it is, Trump at 70%, Ron DeSanctimonious at 10%."

Reports have been circulating about possible growing tension between Trump and DeSantis, who are both considered to be the two top Republican candidates for the presidential race in twenty four years. Reports about such tensions were quashed by DeSantis, who called Trump a friend.

Conservatives are upset with Trump for attacking Ron Desantis.

The Secretary of State told CBS last month that he would make a decision on running for the White House in the spring of 2020. He said he would vote for Trump if he became the GOP's nominee, despite the fact that he would also run for president.
