Lamar Jackson won't have his top target for the Baltimore Ravens game at the New Orleans Saints on Monday.
The Pro Bowl tight end did not travel with the Ravens to New Orleans. He had been listed as questionable.
This is the first time in five years that he will miss a game because of injury. He missed two games in 2020 after testing positive for carbon dioxide.
The Ravens' leading receiver entered the game with a knee injury and then left the game with a shoulder injury. He didn't practice all week.
Jackson will be without two of his top players against the Saints. No. 1 running back is questionable for the game.
The rookies are expected to start in place of the veterans. He had six catches for 77 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
Cornerback Marshon Lattimore and running back Mark Ingram were ruled out of Monday's game by the Saints.
After the game, Baltimore will look to get better. The Ravens will not play again until after their bye.
