Chris Sununu chuckled at the idea of Donald Trump running for president.
Sununu was asked if Trump's White House bid would affect the GOP.
How does it affect our party? He didn't say anything. "First off, announcing you're going to run for office between an election and Christmas is not a good idea because one thing I can say for America is we're all going to be really happy one way or the other that the election is over come Tuesday."
Everyone is going to want to take a break and deal with some serious issues. Politics will return in early 2023.

At a Saturday rally, Trump told his supporters that he would announce his candidacy for president in a very short period of time. The ex-president's team is planning on making an announcement on November 14.
Even if President Trump doesn't run, you're still going to see a lot of other candidates jump in the race, Sununu said. Nobody is kept out of the race by him.
