The Republican National Committee can't continue to pay Donald Trump's legal costs if he decides to run for re-election, according to the committee's chairwoman.

The comments were made to Dana Bash on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday morning, after it was reported that the RNC had paid over two million dollars in legal fees for Trump.

According to The Hill, the RNC paid for Trump's defense in lawsuits from the New York Attorney General and the Manhattan District Attorney.

She said she didn't know and was only focused on 2022.
