A woman who is six months pregnant was laid off from her job and believes that she was discriminated against.

After working at Meta as a data science manager, Shennan Lu joined the company as a data science manager on a part time basis.

She said that she was laid off while she was six months pregnant. It has been great working with you. It's been a fun ride, I'm very thankful.

Discrimination is definitely present here. I'm going to fight. Lu said that other male managers don't have this rating and that his performance has been tracking ahead for the last quarter.

There are other pregnant women affected by Musk's decision to cut up to half of the workforce. A pregnant woman was let go after she got locked out of her computer.

Five former employees have filed a class-action lawsuit against their former employer.

The lawsuit wants the court to stop the company from asking staff to waive their rights to take part in the litigation.
