Obama mocked Oz for his past health recommendations, accusing him of sellingsnake oil.
John Fetterman is the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania lieutenant governor. The former president said that Oz was a celebrity doctor and TV show host who had pushed several medical claims that were not backed by science.
Are you interested in losing weight? Take it with you wherever you go. Did you have leg pain? It's possible to try lavender soap. Do you want to prevent Alzheimer's? It's palm oil. Obama appeared to hold back laughter as he described a miracle solution. None of these things have been proven to work and some may be harmful. You have to believe and give your credit card info.
It was easy to joke about Oz's "quack remedies" but they said something about the doctor.
