The punter is the first one we start with. Yes, the person who sells things.

To understand Georgia's thorough domination of Tennessee on Saturday, we must start in an unlikely place. The depth and talent run deep on this roster, all the way, as evidenced by the fact that defensive lineman Jalen Carter, who has battled injuries this season, showcased how he is in the running for the No. 1 overall pick in next spring's draft. On the opposing one-yard line, a 75-yard punt that was unleashed by the Aussies, ducked out of bounds by itself.

It was a great boot. It should have resulted in a safety a few plays later, but it didn't because of some strange officials.

Georgia scored a touchdown a few minutes later. The game didn't feel competitive after that point.

The full arsenal of Georgia's potential was on display in the biggest game of the season to date.

Alabama, Ohio State, Tennessee and Georgia have all made legitimate pushes throughout the year, so what team deserves the top spot?

The discussion will end after Saturday. There isn't much to Georgia. For now.

It hasn't always been that way this season. Despite the exodus of impact players, expectations for the program were enormous.

The victory over Oregon fanned the fire. Georgia had some doubts about the season. Kent State scored 22 points, only to be narrowly defeated by Missouri the next week.

Despite a string of wins, the questions surrounding Georgia still persist. Those questions were gone on Saturday.

Tennessee was the hottest team in college football going into this week. The Vols were scoring a lot of points.

The nation's top scoring offense was held to one touchdown by Georgia in the fourth quarter. That's how it ends.

The football game never really felt like a close one, even though the score said so. The rain finally came at the end of the first half, after Georgia held a 24 6 lead.

In the SEC and beyond, the ramifications of this game will be large. Georgia will be the top choice for the College Football Playoff.

There wasn't a lot of drama. There was no discussion.

It will probably take a loss to remove the bulldogs from that position. Tennessee will likely move down. Ohio State, one of the teams considered for the top spot, struggled in a win against one of the teams considered for the top spot.

There is a lot of interest in the remaining schedule. Maybe that is dependent on what you think is "intrigue."

Georgia will play at Mississippi State and Kentucky before playing Georgia Tech. The SEC Championship Game is likely to be headed by Kirby Smart. The playoffs are likely to be decided by the outcome of the title game.

It sounds familiar? That should happen.

Georgia lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship game. The team went through to the playoffs and won the title.

The best football team in America doesn't have the same talent as last year's group The reality is that Georgia lost a lot of important players.

It's a testament to the years of brilliant recruiting and development that Smart has constructed in Athens that Georgia has been able to mold a legitimate title contender.

Georgia hasn't won back-to-back national titles in a long time. The result against Tennessee on Saturday is meaningless.

It reminded me of how much talent this roster has from the top to the bottom. As college football's home stretch begins, it puts the bulldogs in an unbelievable position.

It ended the debate regarding the nation's top team.

It's clear that the answer is correct. Georgia is the answer
