We are close to the holidays and are quickly hurdling. Several stores have started early Black Friday sales with guarantees that prices on select products won't dip even further during the main event itself. A few of the items we like from the retailer, as well as a few other discounted goodies like electric scooters and binoculars, have been included in the sale.

There are electric scooter deals.

You can get $200 off our favorite electric scooter if you enter the code WIRED25. You can attach a phone mount to the KQi3 Pro because it has perks like lights, bells, and a roomy handlebar. You should get anywhere from 15 to 20 miles out of it per charge if you use it at 20 miles per hour. It weighs 45 pounds and the handlebars don't fold down, but it's easy to carry. We don't have a lot of experience with Wellbots, the retailer behind this deal, but it has mostly positive reviews on the internet.

The City has enough power and range to satisfy us. If you have an elevator or garage it is best to use it. You can get up to $200 worth of accessories for free in a bundle with the Black Friday sale.

There are camera deals.

This is a favorite of ours, if you are a fan ofNikon. The Z-series cameras allow more light to enter the corners of the sensors. Scott Gilbertson says the full-frame sensor has excellent dynamic range and is one of the best he has used. Excellent video quality is also present. B&H and Adorama have this deal as well.

It's the best option for Canon fans. It has a sensor that outputs a warm tone and is well built. If you want to use your old Canon glass with this beast, there's an accessory you can purchase. B&H and Adorama have this deal as well.

The Hero9 action camera is two generations old, but the Hero10 and Hero11 are expensive. This is a great option if you don't mind buying an old model. Since it has the same sensor as the Hero10, the Hero9 can do everything the newer models can. This deal is also available from other places.

There are deals with binoculars.

Our favorite binoculars are some of the most popular for birdwatching and the 8x42 magnification is the most versatile. They have a comfortable stock strap. When you look at something in bright sunlight, the glass gives you a bright view. B&H has this deal as well.

This additional discount is welcome because these are our budget pair of binoculars. They are not as bright and clear as the Monarchs, but they are still great for beginners.

The 8x25 size must be chosen. For the past few months, the price of these binoculars has been $320, but sometimes it goes up to $350. The best binoculars guide has the Zeiss Terra ED as one of the upgrade picks. A 10.9-ounce body has a great sharpness. They come with a waterproof case and are pocket-sized.

There are laptop and storage deals.

There is an apple

Do you need a computer? It is a nice discount even though it is not the best deal ever. Most people should buy the Macbook Air. It has a sleek redesign and good performance from the M2 chip. There are not enough ports. B&H has this deal as well.

Even though it is the 2020 MacBook Air, it is still excellent. The battery lasted us a full workday and the M1 chip means this machine will wake up from sleep too. It can be used for everyday tasks and a bit more.

The lowest price we have ever tracked is this one. The portable SSDs we have tested are fast and durable, so this one will hold up against daily use. If you need to back up your work quickly, this is the one for you.

The best hard drive for backups is not portable. Scott Gilbertson is a senior writer for WIRED. It requires some desk space but it is worth it for the peace of mind. At B&H, the price is also $220.

The X6 is our portable recommendation. It is still quicker than most of the storage options we tested. They are light and small. The construction is plastic so it won't survive a lot of abuse.

There are backpack and camera bag deals.

The camera sling is on sale. The bag is frequently out of stock and can fit a large camera. The straps on the bottom of the bag can be attached to a tripod. It is made of two types of nylon, both of which are water resistant, and it is quite comfortable. You can store your laptop vertically in the sling with the wandrd's laptop case, which is on sale for $48 B&H has this deal as well.

The 18-liter camera bag is not a camera bag at all. You can access the rest of your gadgets from the side of the camera. There is a rear compartment with a waterproof zip that protects your laptop. When you want to leave the camera at home, you can push down the divider on the inside to make it a backpack. You can get this deal at Brevite, where it's in a variety of colors.

It doesn't draw attention, but it can hold a camera and a spare lens. There are internal pockets for memory cards and batteries.

The company just released a wave of fresh colors, and this is the favorite camera bag of the WIRED reviewer. To get to your other camera gear you will need to open the back. There is an extendable roll-top that you can use to store more items, as well as plenty of pouch and zip-up bags for smaller items. There's a tripod in the side pocket. It is comfortable and long lasting. The 31 liter model is on sale. The photo bundle has accessory straps, a waist strap, and the essential camera cube to store your camera gear in the bag B&H has this deal as well.

Backpackers that tend to carry a lot of gear will appreciate the discount on this big backpack. It came out unscathed, even from the elements, despite being taken with him on a weeklong trip around Iceland. If you have a lot of equipment, he suggests grabbing two of the Camera Cube Essential Plus.

One of the most versatile backpacks we've tested is this one. There are two holders for your notebooks, chapstick, and drinks. If you are spending the day with the kids, you should take the pack out to replace it with a diaper changing station or something similar. It's made of recycled material.

This is a great discount and we like the Pearl Crossbody. There are a lot of different colors and leathers to choose from. It is both pretty to look at and also an organizers dream with several large pockets and space for an iPad Pro in the central pocket. It is easy to get into those pockets. They are closed to keep your gadgets out of harms way.

The convertible tote-backpack combo is one of our favorite totes, and it is one of the best bags we have tried. Almost everything on it is recycled, from the inside to the outside. If you need a break, the backpack straps that clip on to D-rings can be found on the back pocket. It protects a 15-inch laptop from water.
