The Milwaukee Bucks became the first team in franchise history to win their first eight games of a season with a 115-106 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

The Golden State Warriors set an NBA record with 73 regular-season wins in the 2015-16 season, and the Milwaukee Bucks are the last team to start the season..

After Friday's win, Antetokounmpo said it was great to be a part of it. You can't take it for granted, that's for sure." I'm very, very happy to be a part of it and being able to have a team that we're able to start the season off on a good note. I am happy that we are building good habits.

Milwaukee brought back nearly all of its players from last year's title-winning team in order to win another one this year.

Even though the team has bigger goals this season, it still appreciated pulling off a feat no other team has done.

"Yeah, starting off with that confidence and feeling like you're building the right habits, playing the right way, winning in different ways, if it's close games or blowouts," Holiday said. It's nice to be 8-0.

Bobby Portis said that the team is just playing their style. "Not really worried about the outside noise, not really worried about what nobody else is doing, holding each other accountable, and trying to be the best team we can be on a nightly basis."

A combination of strong ball movement and opportunities behind the 3-point line gave the Bucks a win. Milwaukee made a season high 17 3's, all of which were assisted, and shot 44.7% from 3-point range.

The 30th triple double of Antetokounmpo's career was recorded Friday, when he had 26 points, 14 rebound and 11 assist. Holiday has scored at least 25 points in four of his last five games.

The two of them scored or assisted on 87 of the 115 points.

Antetokounmpo said that passing the ball created a lot of energy. Everybody was touching the ball, everyone was driving and kicking it, and everybody was getting open shots. It was enjoyable. Guys were shooting at each other.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be in Milwaukee on Saturday to face the Bucks in the second game of a back-to- back.

Antetokounmpo is proud of how the team is playing. We're moving the ball and how we're defending. We are getting open shots. How we build good habits and how we are being generous. We have 74 games left, and hopefully those habits can carry over to the next one.
