With Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc wrapping up its Q3 earnings call, it seems the joint company has changed the date for its combined streaming service.
Warner Bros. and Discovery had planned to launch the combined service in the summer of 2020.
The teams behind-the-scenes had been working on polishing this new combined app for its spring launch. Bringing the Discovery+ app to international viewers is one of the things it's focused on. Potential new features for the app are being tested by the company.
It will be interesting to see if international users see their time bumped up as well. Europe and Latin America were supposed to receive the combined platform in the fall of 2020.
