The Major League Baseball Players Choice Award winners were revealed Friday night, and New York Yankees star Judge and Houston Astros pitcher Verlander received some of the top awards.

The American League Outstanding Player of the Year went to Judge. The American League Outstanding Pitcher award was won by Verlander.

The Players Choice Awards are selected by the players. Here's a look at all of the nominees and the winners of the awards.

The man of the year is Marvin Miller.

The New York Mets won.

Marcus Semien is a Texas Ranger.

Lindor had a good season for the Mets, batting.270/.339/.450 with 26 home runs, 107RBI and 16 stolen bases in 161 games, but he is being honored more for his work off the field with the Marvin Miller award.

He is an alternate association player representative on the executive subcommittee. In addition, he donated $1 million to Montverde Academy in Florida and established the Francisco Lindor Scholarship Fund in 2021.

Judge put together the best season of his career in 2022, and he's set to receive a massive contract extension this winter after he slashed........... Judge slashed...

Roger Maris' 61-year-old record of 61 home runs in a season was broken by the 30 year old. He helped the Yankees win the American League East title.

One of the best seasons of Goldschmidt's career came in 2022, when he slashed.317/.408/.578 with 35 home runs and 115 runs scored. He helped the Cards finish with the best record in the NL Central and was selected to the All-Star Game.

Following Tommy John surgery, Verlander missed the 2020 and 2021. In 28 starts, the 39-year-old posted an 18-4 record with a 1.75 earned run average and 185 strikeouts.

In a full season, Verlander's 1.74 earned run average was the lowest by a starting pitcher in the American League.

The two-time Cy Young winner was selected to his ninth All-Star Game and helped the Astros lock up the American League's top playoff spot.

The best season of his career was in 2022, when he posted a 14-9 record in 32 starts and 207 strikeouts. He was selected to the All-Star Game for the first time since 2019.

His dominance on the mound was demonstrated by the fact that he lasted at least eightinnings in 14 of his 14 starts.

The American League has an outstanding rookies.

The SeattleMariners had a winner in the form of Felix Rodrguez.

Adley Rutchsman is a catcher for the Orioles.

Bobby Witt Jr. is a baseball player for the Kansas City Royals.

He was selected to the All-Star Game and was a part of the team that reached the playoffs for the first time in 13 years.

He was the only one of the rookies to be selected to the All-Star Game.

In his first season with the Braves, Strider posted an 11-5 record with a 2.67 earned run average and 202 strikeouts in 20 starts.

He anchored a rotation that included Charlie Morton, Max Fried and Jake Odorizzi, and he was awarded with a six-year, $75 million contract extension with the Braves.

This award is only the beginning for the right-handed pitcher, who is expected to be a key member of the Braves' rotation for many years to come.

The Braves finished first in the NL East in Acua's second season after he tore his knee.

He is the 13th player in MLB history to have 500 hits, 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases before his 25th birthday.

The award is named after a flood.

Steve Rogers was a pitcher for the MontrealExpos.

Buck was a catcher for the Toronto BlueJays.

Robinson was a former Baltimore Oriole.

Each year, the Curt Flood Award is given to a former player "who in the image of Flood demonstrated a longstanding devotion to the Players Association and advancement of players' rights."

Rogers was elected to serve as the National League's Pension Rep at the 1976 executive board meeting, after serving as the team's player representative for a decade. He was involved in talks with owners during the 1981 strike.

The five-time All-Star spent 13 years in MLB, posting a 158-152 record, 3.17 earned run average, 1.23 WHIP and 1,621 strikeouts in 2,837.2 appearances.
