  • Reau's purchase of a $1,000 micro-miniskirt has gone global.

  • She said that the skirt was too small and that she was considering returning it.

  • She updated her post to say that she would keep it.

People are questioning if high-end garments are worth the high prices.

On Monday, Reau posted a video of herself opening a package she ordered from Diesel. The micro-miniskirt was made from brown leather and had the brand's logo on it.

She wore different outfits in the TikTok and seemed to like it. In a video posted to TikTok on Wednesday, Reau said she wasn't happy.

She asked if Diesel would dislike her if she posted this. As of Friday, her review had more than 3 million views.

Reau said in her second video that she wanted it to come in a bag. They put it in this box.

The skirt had issues with its quality and size. The skirt was made of leather and felt rubber. The quality of the skirt is brought down by the use of the Velcro to hold it together.

Reau thinks a few snap buttons would have been better.

Reau thought it was impractical to wear the skirt in public. She had to go back to her house to change after 20 minutes of wear.

She stated in her video that her cheeks were out. I'm really disappointed but I think I'm going to return it because I'm obsessed with it. I apologize to Diesel.

She changed her post's caption as of Friday afternoon after posting about the skirt on the same day.

I decided to keep a piece of rubber ass skirt, that's right.

Reau did not reply immediately.

During Milan Fashion Week, the skirt was designed for Diesel.

It's not currently being sold on the brand's website, but can be found online for a higher price.

It wasn't until late October that the discussion around the garment began.

Multiple people have shared their own TikToks to express confusion and defend the skirt.

Many people commented on Reau's video and wondered why she spent so much money on a skirt.

Reau replied to a TikTok comment that he didn't know it was a fabric. I had a gift card and credit to justify it.
