While lots and lots of laid off employees are upset at having lost their jobs, at least one is relieved to be leaving as the company continues to fall.

The founder of the Scroll app that was acquired by Twitter said he was happy to be laid off.

Dave joked that he's afraid to get in his car with what he's learned from this week's events.

While relieved that he no longer has to work in the apparent shitshow that is Musk's Twitter, the Scroll founder said he is extremely pissed for the people who were on the wrong side of the case.

Dave, who has worked for other large tech companies, said that this isn't a game.

Cull the Herd

The disgruntled ex-tweep commented on Musk's mass layoffs at the social network he only bought a week ago. The billionaire tried to get around payouts after firing the company's board of directors, including ex-CEO Parag Agrawal, by saying they'd been terminated for cause.

As far as Dave, novelist Stephen King, and a lot of users of the site are concerned, the firebrand is not fit to be in charge of the site.

The founder of Scroll said that the idea that someone with an army of troll who descend when you say their name is fit to understand what it's like to use this as a normie is dubious.

One word for it is "dubious". "Outrageous," "imbecilic," and "hilarious" are also included.

There is more Musk, as advertisers flee the chaos on social media.
