Colin Hurley, one of the top signal-callers in the 2020 class, committed to LSU on Friday.

He is reclassifying to the class of 2024, which will allow him to be on campus a year early. He had offers from Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, and many more.

The coach used the transfer portal to sign the Arizona State transfer, who has thrown for 1,812 yards and 12 touchdown, while also rushing for 524 yards and nine touchdown as the starter. Walker Howard is a dual-threat quarterback who was signed by Kelly and his staff.

Howard was one of the top recruits in Louisiana. When Kelly was the coach at Notre Dame, he was able to keep Howard in the LSU class after he became the coach at LSU.

Rickie Collins, a quarterback from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is going to play for the staff. Collins is one of the top pocket-passers in the class.

Kelly and his staff don't have to go to the transfer portal for help in the near future because they have a stocked quarterback room. With three recruits and a redshirt freshman already on the roster, LSU should have a lot of options at the position going forward.
