If enough women are encouraged to pursue entrepreneurship, then we have moved the needle. I'm not satisfied.
For the past 25 years, Vaca has been running the firm. She hasn't seen a clear path for women who want to lead despite the industry evolving from the birth of the internet to the introduction of the metaverse. She watched her father run a successful business and was curious to start her own company.
During the early days of the dot-com era, businesses were throwing large sums of money into IT labor. She was already a fan of service and technology. She was taught by her father to look for opportunities that other people don't.
"I took all of it: the curiosity, the entrepreneurship background, the confidence in the marketplace, and the rest is history," he said. I'm passionate about getting the next generation of boys and girls aware of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Get them interested in technology.
The goal of the group is that people are the asset and service to them. She applies this mindset to everyone she works with, from her employees to her clients. She said that her purpose was to improve lives through entrepreneurship and that she wanted to connect them with opportunities.
If you want to break barriers in business, don't limit yourself or your company to your own abilities. She says that women in leadership positions need to master the ability to continually transform themselves because her business has evolved over the last 25 years. Women have created successful companies many times. She says the challenge isn't in starting a business but in scaling it.
The CEO has to be the one to make the change.
