Jeff Bezos is being sued by a woman who worked for him. According to the lawsuit, wedaa worked for three years in the Amazon founder's primary residence and other homes. The claims of racial discrimination, unsafe conditions, and other workplace violations were first reported by Geek Wire.
Wedaa says she worked between 10 and 14 hours a day without taking a break. Staff weren't given lunch or rest breaks while the family was at home, didn't have a designated break room or sitting area, and had to access the bathroom by climbing out of a window
Wedaa claims that other members of the household staff mistreated her and her fellow Hispanic employees in a way they weren't towards white workers. She was fired under false pretenses after trying to take any of the above problems to higher-ups.
According to the lawsuit, the dismissal notice said that Wedaa appeared unhappy and had a negative effect on the team.
There are at least nine different causes of action that Wedaa's legal team is claiming.
Bezos is listed as one of the co- defendants. Two companies manage Bezos' investments. According to Geek Wire, the lawyer representing the company denied all of the allegations.

An unnamed source from the company denied the allegations. There are two areas that serve as break-rooms and both have seating, tables, stocked fridges, microwave, coffee machine, air fryer and snacks. There are more than one bathroom available near the break-rooms. The staff received free lunches every day.
It is not the first time that Bezos has been accused of violating labor laws. The company's warehouses were often dangerous to work in. It was expected that delivery drivers and warehouse employees would be able to meet their quota. bathroom breaks were a problem for a long time. Andy Jassy is currently the CEO of Amazon.
