Chinese Spaceplane Releases Mystery Object Into Orbit

China's top-secret spaceplane has released a mysterious object, which is now circling the Earth.

The only thing we know about China's "reusable experimental spacecraft" is that it was launched on a Long March 2F rocket. We don't know its purpose, what it looks like, or what cargo it was carrying, but it's an intriguing development for China's re-usable launch platform.

Mysterious Object

Tracking data being analyzed by the US Space Force's 18th pace Defense squadron shows that the object was released between October 24 and October 31.

We can't say what the object's purpose is. Jonathan McDowell is an astronomer and space tracker from Harvard.

The Air Force's X-37B spaceplane is shrouded in mystery and currently on its sixth mission, which is similar to China's mysterious spaceplane.

We don't know when the Chinese model will come back to Earth, but we do know that it may land in the near future, according to the report

It's a puzzling new development for China's secretive spacecraft, but it does raise the possibility of a renewed interest in spaceplanes.
