Sam Bankman-Fried, the billionaire CEO of FTX, spoke with the wealthiest man on the planet, Musk, about joining his $44 billionTwitter acquisition.
Bankman-Fried said he decided to remain on the sidelines because there wasn't something he could add to the takeover.

Last week, Musk completed his takeover of the social networking site. He funded the new venture with $12.5 billion in debt financing and more than $30 billion in equity financing, which included from Musk's growing pile of cash. After taking control of the company and firing most of the executives, Musk said the bird is free.
Bankman- Fried would not rule out the possibility of a FTX acquisition. In July, FTX entered an agreement to buy BlockFi, and in September it accepted a bid for the digital assets of the bankrupt firm.
