Houston Astros pitchers threw a combined no-hitter against the Phils

One of the seven-game types of baseball playoffs can change quickly.

The Houston Astros were mocked for how their offense had gone to the land of wind and ghosts for a game and a half or so, two full games if you count the back half of Game 1 when they scored their five runs. A lab experiment that couldn't be solved by any human means, and a brain that was retreating back down his neck and into his torso.

The Astros can take a 3-2 lead back to Houston if they can beat the Phils in a relief game tonight. Just a short time.

When the rainout of Game 3 gave Baker the chance to skip Lance McCullers Jr. and go to Javier on normal rest, it was because of the discrepancy between the two teams' handling of that. In the third game of the series, the Phils asked if they could break the ball. The Phightins are less effective against heat than the other way around, because they are less effective at throwing fast pitches. Especially hot. Thanks to having one of the highest "rise" marks on his four-seamer, Javier's fastball plays up beyond what the actual velocities is. It puts up a lot of resistance.

The team didn't get a hit. He threw 97 pitches. Eight of them are in play. They were mostly kept up in the zone, where the "rise" would play better.

The situation didn't change when Baker had to take Javier out. Bryan Abreu didn't see one of his seven pitches put in play. He only threw one non-fast ball of his 10 pitches. Ryan Pressley gave the team a look at something else for the majority of the time.

ThePhillies could hit a bunch of cheese with Verlander on the mound tonight if they wanted to. Verlander tried this gameplan in the first game of the series, but he couldn't find the zone after the first few frames. There is no confusion on the map.

If this gets to a Game 7, it will leave Baker with a dilemma, because he will have to decide if he wants to go to a Game 7 or not. Is he on three days' rest? There is a combination of the two. If Baker pushed him up to Game 3 he would have him locked up and loaded for Game 7 if we got there. Children and oaks from small oaks.

Diaz-ying

Baker made a decision to put AledmysDiaz in the lineup. The Philadelphia trailed in the 10th of the first game of the series. Diaz is hitting.056 in the playoffs before the fourth game. He got up because he tried to lean into a curve to get a free base and was one of three hitters who get called for that per season. Again, hitting.069 at this point, he proceeded to swing at a 2-0 pitch and miss it by a couple of feet, before grounding out on the next pitch. The man Baker had to have up was this one.

The bottom of the Astros lineup has been a giant sucking sound all playoffs, but in Game 3 Baker rediscovered that David Hensley was still breathing oxygen and he actually provided a hit, something that anyone in the bottom third of the Astros lineup could claim.

Baker put him back in the lineup and he got three of the worstABs and three Ks. The kicker was in the top of the second, when Michael Tucker attempted to create a rally all on his own by doubling and then moving to third on the nextAB when Alec Bohm failed to look him back to second. With two on and one out, CHRISTIAN VAZQUEZ WALKED, BRINGING DIXON TO THE PLATE. The right side of the infield was going to be given toDiaz by thePhillies.

I don't like hitters going away from their approach. The reason hitters don't take the free single when infields shift has been written about many times. This is AledmysDiaz. He is hitting.056 He had an unsuccessful attempt in the first game. The Astros have never led in Philadelphia.

He swung wildly at four of the five pitches he saw and tried to get them to the other side. He didn't hit out. Someday, we will find the unwarranted confidence of an Aledmys Diaz in our veins and think we are capable of great feats.

M’m! M’m! Good!

Yesterday, Kylian Mbappe scored a goal against Bianconeri. The kind of goal that got him a NIke ad in America was the Brazilian one.

The family of May Frederico Gatti found solace in the fact that he lived his dream of playing for the most famous club in Italy before being buried by Kylian Mbappe. After beating two other defenders, the accuracy went post and in. The best time to find calm is when there is a lot of chaos.
