Man, 71, succumbs to wounds from pummeling by 15-year-old blocking dog groomer’s exit

Police said that a 71-year-old man died after being hit in the head by a 15-year-old boy in a fight.

A witness said the teen was blocking the exit ramp as the victim was leaving the store.

Siddique Muhammad is the owner of a pizzeria next to the one where they were arguing. The man was being told to move. The man was with his dog. They got into a fight.

The teen punched the victim multiple times in the face until he passed out.

Muhammad said that he saw a man bleeding from the head after he was hit. He had a lot of blood on his head.

There was a man on the ground with a head injury. Cops said he died at the hospital.

Muhammad was told that he was on life support. He died. That is very sad.

The teen attacker was taken into custody at the scene and charged with attacking a 65-year-old. The person is a minor, so police did not name him.

NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig said that the man was known to say derogatory things to people.

Since the fatal injury occurred during the fight, it was deemed a homicide.

Police said the charges against the teen may be upgraded.
