Sayin is a 5-star quarterback in the class of 2024.

Sayin said there was a lot to like about Alabama.

Alabama is the standard for college football. You think of Alabama when you watch that football game on Saturdays. How could you not want to play for a coach like that? They have the ability to produce football players. Their track record for quarterbacks is pretty good.

Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and USC were some of the schools that offered Sayin. He is the second overall quarterback and the 14th ranked prospect in the country.

The 6'1", 185-pound signal-caller out of Carlsbad (California) High School joins a class that already includes a trio of 4-star prospects.

The class of 2023 is the first class in the nation to be ranked first overall.

Sayin gives Alabama the chance to have a great signal- caller. In 2020, Mac Jones led Alabama to a perfect season, and in the past two years, Bryce Young has starred for Alabama.

Sayin is expected to be the next man up when he arrives in Tuscaloosa in 2024, even though Young is expected to head for the NFL draft in 2023. Georgia and LSU were the other two finalist for Sayin and it was a big loss for them.

The future Alabama product has enjoyed a good season for the Carlsbad Lancers. He has completed 131 of 192 passes for 2,032 yards and 21 touchdown.
