Portugal

The manager could be without four important players for the group stage of the tournament.

Both the US and England have injuries at either end of the pitch.

It's not known if Dike will return before the November break, as he has been out with a thigh issue.

There are huge concerns over two of his top stars, but they will be given time to prove their fitness.

The Wolves forward flew back to England on Friday after three weeks in South America recovering from a groin injury, which is a huge doubt for the tournament. The clock is running to be fit.

Sevilla's Jesus Corona broke his leg in August and won't be fit in time to play for Mexico at the World Cup.

South Korea

Son Heung-min had to be replaced after he suffered a blow to the head.

Croatia

During Croatia's Nations League win over Austria in September, Inter Milan's Marcelo Brozovic injured his thigh and hasn't played since.

Uruguay

Barcelona stated in September that the defender would likely miss the tournament due to surgery on a torn thigh muscle that would keep him out for 2 to 3 months.

Poland

Moder tore his anterior cruciate knee in April and won't be able to play for the Poles.

Canada

The captain of Canada, Atiba Hutchinson, has not played all season for his club side, Besiktas, after suffering a bone bruise in pre-season, but hopes to be fit in time for the tournament.

Morocco

Louza broke his leg against Millwall in October and won't be able to play in the tournament.
