The new Pro 5S 2K security camera has features like dual-band wi-fi, a 160 degree viewing angle, 2K resolution, a spotlight and sirens built-in, and 30 percent longer battery life than the previous Pro. Preorder it at Best Buy for $249.99 and it will be delivered by December 6th.

According to the company, the new camera can securely connect to the new home security system, which was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. An all-in-one sensor units that detect open doors and windows, motion, water leaks, light, temperature changes, and can listen for smoke and CO alarms are included with the full security system.

The home security system is available for pre-order at a number of retailers and will be delivered by December 6th. The starter bundle includes a keypad, 30-days of service, and two sensors, while the step up bundle adds three more sensors to the starter and a yard sign for $299.99

An enhanced Emergency Response center that lets you request emergency personnel in times of crisis is one of the new features that will be offered by Arlo. The Home Security System comes with a 30-day trial of the Secure Plus service, which provides features like unlimited cloud video recordings and emergency response. You can continue using it after the trial is over. The new app will be released in November of 2022.

The Pro 5S 2K camera can be controlled with a variety of internet-based tools. HomeKit is not supported at this time, which is unfortunate since the previous Pro 4 supports it.
