The New York Giants are open to the possibility of a reunion with Beckham.

Beckham visited the Giants facility last month and met with some players and staff who he knew from his previous time with the organization. It wasn't an official visit since he didn't meet with the general manager and coach.

It doesn't mean the Giants wouldn't be interested in signing Beckham when he's healthy. Beckham tore his knee in the Super Bowl

The Giants did not make a move at the trade deadline, and the general manager said he didn't know that the receiver was in the building. He's been a great player. When he's healthy, we would consider and talk to him. I don't know where he is because I think he did the knee in February.

We're going to talk to the player's representatives if we upgrade the roster.

The Giants are going to have a week off.

Beckham was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the football season. He started his career with three straight 1,300-yard seasons, setting a new record. Things fell apart when he broke his leg.

He signed a new long-term contract months before he was traded to Cleveland. He was angry at the time at the general manager, Dave Gettleman.

Beckham has toyed with the idea of rejoining the Giants.

"Ain't nothing better than a family reunion, that's what I said," he said.

The Giants could use reinforcements at the wide receiver spot. Shepard is out for the season, Kenny Golladay has two catches for 22 yards and Kadarius Toney has been traded. Slayton leads the Giants with over 200 receiving yards.

He hopes the Giants get Golladay back in time to face the Texans. He has something to worry about.

When he was healthy, Beckham was still a high-end player. He had 21 catches for 288 yards in the playoffs and was going to be the Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player before his latest injury.

He has had a problem with that in the past. He tore his leftACL in 2020 and had core muscle surgery in the fall of 2019.

The Giants may not be able to add Beckham this season due to money. Veteran salary benefit deals are the only deals the Giants will be doing this season.

Beckham would be looking for a deal that can't be done in VSBs. An exception would have to be made by the Giants.

If he's healthy, he's a good player from what I've seen. If a player is healthy and can help the team win games, we will pursue them.
