The team that drafted Beckham in the first round is open to a possible reunion with the wide receiver.
The general manager of the New York Giants told reporters on Tuesday that Beckham is a player he would be interested in considering when he's recovered from his tornACL. Beckham was drafted by the Giants in the first round in 2014; he was named the league's offensive rookies of the year.
Beckham earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2015 and 2016 while he was a member of the New York Giants. He reached 1,000 receiving yards in four of his five years with the team, the only outlier being when he broke his ankle.
Beckham was traded from the Giants to the ClevelandBrowns. His career took a turn when he tore his knee in 2020. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams as a free agent after being cut by the Cleveland Indians. He helped the Rams win their second Super Bowl title.
Another player on the outside is something the Giants could use. The fourth-year wideout leads the team with 232 receiving yards, but it's the star running back Saquon Barkley who gets most of the attention as he leads the team with 28 reception and 35 targets.
New York lost a veteran receiver in the third week of the season, but he still has 154 receiving yards through eight weeks. Toney was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kenny Golladay, the team's prized free-agent acquisition last year, hasn't played since the fourth week of the season.
