There is still vinyl. Ask your old-school uncle or Taylor Swift if you want to. The Sound Burger, Audio-Technica's portable record player, is back and better than ever.

We haven't seen a state of affairs like this since 1986 when vinyl revenue surpassed CD revenue, according to the RIAA. According to the RIAA, vinyl revenue grew 22 percent in the first half of the year to $570 million, more than CD revenue of $200 million.

Audio-Technica, a Japanese audio brand, has rereleased its Sound Burger portable record player. The company is celebrating its 60th birthday with a number of new products. The company is making 7,000 units based on a plate.

The Sound Burger was the first place where people could listen to their records outside of their homes. The player had to sit on a flat surface during operation due to the precariously out of the unit.

You can listen to your vinyl through wireless headphones with the new Sound Burger AT-SB2022. There's also a 3.5mm jack this time around, but Audio-Technica is also including a dualRCAadapter

There is no need for clunky batteries with the refreshed portable record player. It says the play will last for about 12 hours before it needs a charge.

The original Sound Burger, also known as Mister Disc, required user maintenance to make sure records continued spinning at the correct speed. Audio-Technica's record player has a DC motor that drives its belt-drive system for stable rotation.

The tonearm uses a dynamic balance system in which stylus pressure is applied through a spring. The new record player works with the ATN3600L stylus.

The Sound Burger has an output of 50 decibels and a transmission band of 20,000hertz.

The 2022 Sound Burger is a product for people who love vinyl. The original product has a cult following and still has a unique premise.

After stock runs out, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Sound Burger end up on eBay. 1980s Sound Burgers can be found for $400 to $550.
