The son of a former Minnesota Vikings coach and an NBA assistant coach has died.
Mike's daughter and Adam's sister confirmed the news on their social media accounts. There wasn't a cause of death.
Adam was a member of the Vikings' coaching staff. He was promoted to co-defensiveordinator in 2020. The majority of the coaching staff and his father were fired.
In 2006 he joined the New Orleans Saints as an assistant. From 2010 to 2012 he worked for the Kansas City Chiefs. He joined his father as an assistant defensive backs coach with the Cincinnati Bengals in the fall of 2013), before moving with him to the Vikings in the winter of 2015.
Adam worked as an offensive analyst for the Cincinnati team.
