Things have not gone according to plan for the Las Vegas Raiders, despite the high expectations coming into the season.

The head coach of the team apologized for the start.

The Raiders lost to the New Orleans Saints 24-0 on Sunday.

There was a performance that deserved an apology.

Las Vegas didn't score a point, as Carr went 15-of-26 for 101 yards, zero touchdown and one pick up. The Raiders had to shift away from the ground game as they fell behind into comeback mode.

Even though New Orleans didn't have to do much on offense, Andy Dalton still impressed, going 22 of 30 for 229 yards and two touchdown.

He scored all three of the home team's touchdown, one on the ground and two through the air.

Thanks to their divisions, the New Orleans Saints are in a better position than the Raiders. The Saints are in first place in the South, while Las Vegas is in last place in the West.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Broncos are in a three-way tie for third place with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He helped the New England Pats win three Super Bowls, but hasn't been a head coach. In his first year with the Raiders, he is off to a poor start, as he was in the past with the Broncos.

It isn't the best sign that he is already apologizing just seven games into the campaign.
