Poland chooses US to build its first nuclear power plant

Poland has decided to build its first nuclear power plant with the help of the U.S. government.

According to the Prime Minister, Poland will use the reliable, safe technology of the Westinghouse Electric Company for the plant. The location is not known.

The last nuclear power plant to be built in Poland will be in 2043. The first three reactor of the Pomerania plant will be built by the U.S. and Westinghouse.
