New Hampshire GOP Gov. Chris Sununu doesn't think there's 'any need' for campaign attack ads against Nancy Pelosi before midterms after her husband's assault

The governor of New Hampshire said he didn't think there was a need for attack ads against Pelosi.

Sununu wanted to make sure the speaker's family was safe.

All the politics should be put away. Don't pay attention to the election. She's going to win reelection. "Let's just make sure that she and her family are safe, they're taking the right steps to make sure that not just they're safe, but the other members of Congress and the Senate as well."

While a lot of Republicans have spoken out against the attack, former President Donald Trump has yet to issue a statement.
