There is a cabinet of curiosities.
Every so often, they get it just right with everything that comes up or down its Top 10 lists. Cabinet of Curiosities has eight directors adapting eight different horror stories in individual episodes for an anthology.
It's amazing.
Even though I still have a few left, I have yet to see a bad entry in this project, which is a dream for me as a huge horror fan. The episodes are more frightening than the last. The images from the autopsy will be in my brain for a long time. I don't think I'll be able to write about Pickman's Model here. The Outside, starring Kate Micucci giving an all-time crazy performance, is the one that has stuck with me the most. There is an all-star squad here.

There are different genres. While demons are a common theme, they are not the only villains. One of the main villains in Graveyard Rats is a rat that chases a guy through tunnels under a graveyard. Dan Stevens sells her beauty products on her TV.
It's easy to see how this could become a regular thing for netflix, similar to what they do with sci-fi and animation It is a great showcase for horror directors and writers, and I would love to see more of it every year around Halloween, though I am not sure if that is the plan. Right now, the show is hovering at #2 on the list, and while it may not make it to the top spot, it is one of those instances where the quality of the show is so good that it should be promoted and renewed.
Cabinet of Curiosities is a good place to start if you want to be scared or horrified this weekend. I don't think it's a good idea for the faint of heart. Pickman's Model can be skipped if you have children.
