The New Orleans Saints would be willing to trade running back Alvin Kamara to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a first-round pick, according to a general manager in the National Football League.
The news was reported by Albert Breer of the sports magazine.
One GM told me that the Saints would consider moving him to the Eagles if Philadelphia gave them back the first-round pick they traded in April.
There is a very talented roster and a record that doesn't reflect it for the Saints. Mickey has gotten calls. It is not known if he would be willing to listen on Michael Thomas. There are some second tier types who could be moved.
The Eagles got the first-round pick and a second-round pick in the deal.

The Saints have the fourth pick in the draft. The Eagles are the only remaining team that has not lost a game.

The Eagles are not interested in trading for Kamara.
The Philadelphia area has been active in the trade market. The Eagles have time to make more moves with the trade deadline looming, but for now they will focus on their home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
