Bo Nix jukes out defender for a TD (0:23)

Bo Nix made a nice move. There is a 0:23

4:05 AM AST

Bo Nix's performance in the Oregon's 42-24 win over Cal put him in the company of some of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game.

It was the third time in the past 10 years that a quarterback threw for at least 400 yards and had three touchdown and three scores in the same game. Oregon piled up 586 yards on the ground.

The big numbers weren't enough for Oregon to want more.

"Bo did a good job today, but I think he can do better," Dan Lanning said. Our whole team probably feels that way. Bo has been a great player all year. He's going to come away from his performance saying he wants to do better.

Lanning was absolutely correct. The sentiment was echoed by another person.

We just kind of shot ourselves in the foot a few times, but I think that we played ok on the offensive side. The guys around me put up some points even though I didn't play my best.

The quarterback ran for 59 yards on 12 runs. He was picked off twice, but one came on aHail Mary to end the first half and the other bounced off his intended receiver

There was a sense of frustration because of the slow start and three trips to the red zone that ended without a point.

Since opening the season with a loss to Georgia, Oregon has won seven in a row, scoring at least 41 points in each game. The 42 points they scored against Cal was the lowest they have scored in a conference game this year.

The final three games of the season will include Washington, Utah and Oregon State.
