The suspect in the assault on Nancy Pelosi's husband was inspired by the same conspiracy theories promoted by some of his fellow party members.
The attack on Paul Pelosi by a man obsessed with election conspiracies is a dangerous reality encouraged by some members of my own party. He will be okay.
Every Member of Congress must condemn this. "Now, Speaker Pelosi"

Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul, was attacked with a hammer by a person who was looking for the Speaker. The suspect was named by officials. He is accused of trying to kill someone with a deadly weapon. There is a history of far-right conspiracy theories and racism being posted on the internet.
Some Republicans have come forward and denounced the attack, including former Vice President Mike Pence who said that the man should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Kinzinger said that when you convince a third of the country that the election was stolen, the other side is enemies. Every Republican needs to speak out on this kind of stuff.
